Save Money By Insulating Your Home With Bubble Wrap

Being warm and toasty in your house in the winter is one of life’s simple pleasures, unless you’re the one paying for it. When you’re a homeowner, every time you hear the thermostat hum to life you know it means valuable dollars out of your paycheck.

While there’s no way to totally insulate your home for free, there are some ways you can lessen the blow.

A youtuber by the name of Alaska Grannie has come up with a cheap, quick, and easy way to insulate your home during the winter. To do it, just spray the bubbled side of a bubble wrap sheet with a little water. Then, spray the window you want to insulate. After that, just stick the wet side of the bubble wrap to the wet window.

The air in the bubbles provide some cold insulation`and the bubble wrap stays secured to the windows when the water freezes.
