Any mother can assure you that unborn babies are anything but quiet. They flip, tumble, and kick hard.
Most babies respond to the outside environment. They might only kick when they hear certain songs or voices, or when the mother eats something spicy.
The baby in this viral video shows that babies can dance too! When the parents went in for their ultrasound, the doctor noticed something quirky on the monitor. The baby was clapping! A few moments later, the mother and father sing “if you’re happy and you know it” and the baby claps 3 times in sync.
Sadly, the baby isn’t actually clapping along to the music. the parents said that the doctor took the footage of their baby clapping during the ultrasound, then replayed it in order for them to make the video. They used the footage to announce that they were having a baby to friends and family.
It would’ve been fun if we had proof that babies could dance in-utero though. Still, the fact that their baby is so vibrant at just 14 weeks is a great sign of health. This couple undoubtedly has a happy baby.
