Active Service Member Stunned When He Received His Restaurant Bill

Our military members make a lot of sacrifices to serve our country. They often spend months at a time away from loved ones and aren’t often thanked for their work.

Over the weekend, Army serviceman Noah Young went to a Hickory, Texas Roadhouse restaurant. He ordered a sirloin steak and a Coke. According to Noah’s Facebook post, their server Nick was very attentive. “…our server and was literally on top of EVERYTHING. Drinks food rolls everything. You name it he had it before we could ask. And it was PACKED,” Noah’s Facebook post states.

From what conversations Noah had with Nick, Nick deduced that Noah was in the Army.

When the time came for Noah’s check, he asked Nick for it. When Nick brought the check back, Noah’s check had been paid for. Nick used his own money from the night to pay for Noah’s dinner!

Touched by the gesture, Noah laid down a $10.00 bill on the table. Nick refused to take Noah’s money.

Noah shared his experience on Facebook. Noah is so right — we need more people like Nick in the world.

With all of the darkness out there, you have the chance to make the internet a brighter place by passing this along and sharing your thoughts with us in the comments!
