YouTuber OCKTV decided to film an experiment to see how passersby in New York City would react to a seemingly homeless boy that was freezing in the cold by himself. Would anyone stop and help?
For a while, it seemed like the answer would be no. That is until another homeless person saw the young boy shivering on the sidewalk and offered to help. With absolutely nothing to gain, the homeless man compassionately aides the young boy by comforting him, offering his coat, and even pulling out some cash from his pocket so he could get a bite to eat.
With over 8,000,000 YouTube views in just 4 days it’s clear that the video struck an emotional chord with many. If there’s one thing to take away from it, it’s to never judge a person’s character by their looks, because the man with the tattered clothing could have a heart of gold.
