This love story entails a dog, Denali, and his man, Ben. The story is told from Denali’s perspective as he explains about his life with his master.
Life with Ben was a joyful one. Ben would take him on trips, go surfing or rock climbing. Denali even helped Ben find some girlfriends. But things weren’t always easy.
At one point, Ben was diagnosed with cancer and was unable to do all of the fun things they used to for a while. Denali never left his side during this time.
Ben eventually became healthy again and they were able to get back to normal life. It wouldn’t last however, as Denali was also diagnosed with cancer.
Denali became weaker and weaker, but Ben wouldn’t leave his side just as Denali did for him. Before Denali’s passing, Ben took him to all of their favorite spots for one more good time.
