Texas newscasters, Gloria Campos, filmed a special about adoption several years ago. On it, she featured a 14-year-old boy named Ke’onte who spent 4 years in foster care and had little success in finding a family.
She liked the boy so much that she featured him again in a second special about adoption, and when the story aired he was adopted by a loving family and found a permanent home.
Ke’onte was so grateful for Gloria’s actions and wanted to thank her for all that she’s done. So he contacted the news station and set up a surprise visit to thank the woman that helped turn his life around.
When he walks out during a live news broadcast, they embrace, and she immediately breaks into tears of joy.
