A family was enjoying a vacation in South Africa on a safari, observing and taking photos of all the wildlife.
They reached a pride of six lions lounging in the shade. They stopped their car to take a few photos and a video. The lions, for the most part, thought nothing of it, until something terrifying happened.
One lioness became curious and approached the vehicle. The family jumped in a startle but stayed and continued to video tape the majestic creatures.
You could tell the lioness was very much interested in the contents inside the vehicle as she peers through the corner window.
Then, like that scene in Jurassic Park when the velociraptor opened the kitchen door, the lioness opened the car door with her mouth, causing everyone to panic.
They quickly shut the door and locked it before the lioness could stick her head in.
“I had no idea they could do that!” one of them screamed. If she didn’t know before, well now she does.
After their little scare, they decided that now would be a good time to move on with the safari and leave that pride alone.
