Parrots are one of the only animals that know how to speak clear language. They can easily pick up any new words that are said around them a few times. In fact, one of the best ways to get to know a parrot owner is to talk to their parrot!
Most parrots are taught cute little phrases like “Polly want a cracker!” or “Pretty bird!”. However, this Grey African Parrot’s owner has taught her more, shall we say, sophisticated phrases.
Lottie, the parrot in the video, is giving her own rendition of James Bond’s classic line “My name is Bond…James Bond.” Lottie even does the James Bond intro complete with a little head dance!
It’s likely that Lottie’s owner watches a lot of James Bond Movies. However, it’s much more fun to think that her owner taught her these lines on purpose.
However she learned how to be so smooth, Lottie’s going to be drinking vespers by this time next year. Shaken, not stirred of course.
