Having a pair of twins in the family isn’t so common. What’s even more uncommon is a pair of biracial twins. What’s even more uncommon than that is having two sets of biracial twins!
In fact, the chances of that happening are literally two in a million, so slim to none. But to quote the famous Han Solo, “Don’t tell me the odds”.
Those odds didn’t mean much to Dean and Allison Durrant as the couple gave birth to not one, but two sets of twins.
Their eldest are Lauren and Hayleigh. Lauren has a light complexion, like their mother, and Hayleigh has a darker one, like their father.
When Allison was pregnant again, they would often joke about the possibility of having another set of twins that also looked different. The joke was on them when Miya and Leah were born.
Their family made headlines and shocked the world but Lauren and Hayleight don’t seem to mind, they’re just happy there’s more family to love.
