An America’s Got Talent Hopeful named Johnny Shelton stole the hearts of the studio audience with a self-written song about his son who passed away from rhabdomyosarcoma ( a form of lymph cancer) when he was just five years old.
At the beginning of the video, Johnny starts by describing his son to the camera. He says that his son was a “character” and a spitting image of his dad. You can see the joy on his face when he disuses his late son.
But burying a child is the most nightmarish thing for a parent. You can audibly hear Johnny’s voice crack with anguish when he goes into the details of his son’s death.
When the audience hears the story, they’re all extremely sympathetic. But when Johnny begins to perform the song “That’s Love”, the entire audience is almost moved to tears.
