Lions are one of the most gorgeous mammals in the world. It’s no wonder why films like the Lion King have captivated the hearts of millions.
Animal behaviorist Kevin Richardson has earned the title of Lion whisperer for his groundbreaking work with African lions. This video shows the harrowing rescue of a white lion named Aslan.
Richardson had to intervene when an accident shattered two of Aslan’s canines. After the incident, Aslan became distant, easily agitated, and uncooperative.
The problem wasn’t that Aslan lost the teeth, it was that bits of the teeth were stuck in Aslan’s gumline causing him great pain. Fixodent sponsored an operation to remove the tooth fragments and seal the injuries. Once it was complete and healed Aslan was happier and more responsive.
The amount of dedication and empathy it took to do something so considerate is amazing. Fixodent and Richardson both deserve huge amounts of praise for relieving this great white cat of misery.
