While Noah Galloway was on his second tour of duty in Iraq he lost his left arm and leg in an explosion. Like many wounded veteran, Galloway became withdrawn, out of shape, and depressed after his injuries. Though it didn’t take long for him to get back on the horse.
Since then he has appeared on the October cover of Men’s Health where he was named 2014’s Ultimate Guy. Now he’s set to appear on the hit show “Dancing with the stars”.
He is to dance with Australian Ballroom dancer, Sharna Burgess, and the episode will air on March 16th.
“I’ve faced some tough things in my life, and dancing the Tango on national TV is going to be a new challenge. That said, no excuses! I am excited to represent millions of veterans and to show my kids that they can do anything.” he told Men’s Health.
When he’s not taken away by publicity, Galloway works as a physical trainer who doesn’t take excuses from his clients. He aims to inspire the people of the world that they are capable of anything, despite any physical limitation.
Most importantly, he’s a wonderful father to his 3 children.
