In a new video is circulating the internet showing a man wrestle down and remove fishing line from a pelican.
The video opens up with a pelican sitting on a dock. The pelican has fishing line and a bit of tackle wrapped around his beak. If it had stayed that way the pelican would have starved and died.
The man quietly sneaks up on the massive sea bird and grabs it by the leg. He then wrestles it to the ground. As the first man holds the bird between his legs a second comes up and begins to gingerly remove the fishing line from the bird’s beak. The bird struggles and squawks as the man attempts the delicate maneuver of cutting off the line.
Finally, the bird is free, but that doesn’t stop the hero from showboating a bit. The man keeps hold of the bird’s beak and opens its jaws around his head like they do with lions at the circus.
At this point a crowd had formed and cheered on the two men. He then lets the bird go and it flies off safely towards the ocean.
