Use These Three Simple Tricks To Keep Your Refrigerator Fresh And Clean

Nothing will kill a growling tummy and a healthy appetite faster than a funky fridge. And who hasn’t had their appetite ruined by a noxious blast of week-old bacteria from last week’s dinner?

Luckily for us, the good people at the LEAF youtube channel have come up with several ways to quickly and easily deodorize nasty smelling fridges. Another perk is that all of their solutions are 100% all natural. What’s not to like?

The first way is to add one tab of alka seltzer to a cup of tap water. Then place the cup into the fridge. Simple.

The second is to add one tablespoon of vanilla extract to a few cotton balls, then put put it all on a small dish and leave inside the fridge.

The third is definitely the coolest. Cut an orange in half, and scrape out the insides of one half. Then put two or so tablespoons of sea salt into the half of orange and place into a cup. put the cup into the fridge. This probably works well with other citrus fruits like lemons or grapefruits.

These simple tips are great and will make your fridge smell wonderful without the harsh chemicals in bleach. Try it, you’ve got nothing to lose but a stinky fridge.
