So you’ve just shot a man, and you are being questioned by the police…so you bring the body to your lawyer’s office to prove your innocence?
Sounds like the bizarre plot-line to an episode of Better Call Saul, but it’s true.
John Marshall of Bokeelia, Florida, claims he shot the man in self defense and didn’t know whom else apart from his lawyer he should trust with the body. So he drove to his lawyer’s office with the victim in the back of his pickup truck.
His attorney, John Harris, claims Mr. Marshall acted in self-defense and was in the process of considering a restraining order against the victim due to prior violent altercations.
“They don’t teach you about this in law school. That’s for sure. This is not something that happens every day,” Harris told the local news.
The local police are still investigating, but no charges have been filed at this time.
