About 71 percent of the earth’s surface is water, and we’ve explored only a fraction of it. Because of this, there are hundreds, even thousands of different sea creature species that we’ve never seen before.
Yet another unseen species has washed up on the docks of the Northern German city of Kiel. We have yet to find out what it is, what it eats, or even where its mouth is.
When you click on the video, you’ll see that it’s moving. It looks like a cross between a raw sausage and a placenta. The video could always be fake, but it’s more disturbing to think of what fake objects were used to create that thing.
Scientists estimate that 86% of land species and 91% of sea species haven’t been described yet. The next time you see something that looks strange washed up on the shore of the beach or laying in the ground in your backyard, you might not want to dismiss it as trash too hastily. Go poke it with a stick and see what happens!
