Just when you think you’ve gotten past the temper tantrums of childhood, little kids turn into big kids. And when teenagers have meltdowns, they are strong enough to have an impact. Gone are the days when you could carry your little one to his room. Now when he gets angry, a door slam can rattle the whole house.
Parents utilize an array of punishments; from no TV and games, no friends and no dessert, to even harsher punishments. When one teen slammed his bedroom door in a fit of anger, his dad took matters into his own hands…and did things a little differently.

The image was later shared on the Love What Matters Facebook page, where several users responded with their own harsh punishments.
Like this woman who had her door removed and then got it back as a Christmas present.

The look on this kid’s face says it all. Not only does he have no privacy, but he also has a glaring reminder of what a tough dad will do when he acts up. He will certainly never forget this day—and hopefully, learn a valuable lesson about respecting his elders.
