When most people think of cats they think of grumpy little fur balls that don’t care about anyone or anything that will scratch your eyes out if you touch it the wrong way. They think this because they don’t know how loyal and loving a cat can really be, if you treat them well enough.
As proof, here is 88-year-old Misa with her cat, Fukumaru. Misa found Fukumaru abandoned in a shed as a kitten. The two have been inseparable ever since that day. Her granddaughter, Miyoko Ihara, documented the friendship with photographs.
Fukumaru has heterochromia, a condition for a variety of species where the eyes are two, or sometimes more, different colors. It is normal for white cats with blue eyes to be deaf as well. If a white cat has heterochromia then it will only be deaf on the side with the blue eye.
Misa doesn’t mind when Fukumaru goes on the table.
They do everything and go everywhere together.
Fukumaru even helps Misa with the gardening.
These two are inseparable, a real example of true friendship.
