Three-year-old Gracie Lynn lives in a town where Christmas is taken pretty seriously. She and her parents went to a restaurant to eat breakfast where Gracie saw an old man, who looks a lot like Santa, eating alone.
The old man’s name is never mentioned so we’ll just call him Santa.
During the day, Santa works in the mall as…Santa, bringing joy to all the little girls and boys. That’s where Gracie saw him first.
While eating in a restaurant with her family, she noticed Santa eating by himself. That’s when she decided to do something about it.
Gracie pulled up a chair, sat down with the jolly old man, and the two had a conversation. When asked why she did that she said, “I didn’t want Santa to eat all by himself.”
“I’ll tell you what,” Santa began, “If more people in the world care like Gracie does, it’be a lot better world, you know?” If old Saint Nick is saying that, what else do you need to hear?
