Have you ever been at a party and wanted to whip out an impressive party trick? Luckily, Howcast has created a basic party trick that’ll impress anyone who hasn’t seen it before. You don’t need any special props or magic school training either.
The trick is very simple. To perform it, you need a candle, a plate, a wine glass, and a liquid inside the wineglass. If you can’t get ahold of a candle (like at a bar for example) you can use a red cherry stem.
To perform the trick, you need to light your candle (or cherry) and place it in the center of the plate. Then you need to pour the wine into the dish around the candle. Be careful that you don’t get the flame wet or your trick will go out in a puff of smoke.
To complete the trick, place the empty wineglass over the flame and watch as the liquid is sucked into the glass like magic. The trick should work with non-alcoholic beverages too, so it’s good for kid’s parties too.
