Never before have you seen a Daschund like this. They’re normally a small 12 pound critter-like pooch, that frolics around the house like en energizer bunny.
But Dennis the Dashchund was a completely different story. This obese pup weighed an grew to an unbelievable 59 pounds after he was taken in by relatives who decided to feed him human food along with plenty of treats.
Eventually, it was time for Dennis to go on a diet, where he lost a remarkable 46 pounds. He can now run “up and down the steps”, a feat he hasn’t been able to pull off in years.
To top it off, Dennis also underwent a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin which dropped off his body after the massive weight loss.
