The more animal videos you watch, the more you start to notice that animals really aren’t all that different than people. All they want to do is eat, sleep, and have fun with people and in places that make them happy.
This video is another funny example of an animal performing a complex human behavior.
The handlers and friends of J.D. the horse (also known as “Southside) decided to throw him a birthday party complete with a cake.
They sang the birthday song, and halfway through it you can see J.D. trying to snatch a bite of the cake.
The moment the birthday song finishes, the birthday boy blows a big breath of air right at the candles to put them out. His timing was really on point!
We think that J.D. was really hankering for a slice, and he knew that he could eat as soon as the song was over and the candles blown out. What do you think?
