Does anyone else remember Fruit by the Foot or Fruit Roll Ups? Yeah, they’re still around, by we’re not 5 anymore and our parents aren’t going to buy them for us. Plus, they’re terrible for your teeth and diet.
Whether your an adult who misses little treats like that or a parent who doesn’t want to give their kids something so (artificially) sugary, here’s a little treat for you.
Kelly Senyei from shows the world how to make your very own fruit roll ups and with no added sugar! The only ingredient is fruit. She uses mangoes but you can only use raspberries, strawberries or blueberries.
All you need to do is purate it and spread it thin on lime baking sheet. After that, all you need to do is let it sit in the oven, set it to 175 degrees to dehydrate the fruit, and let it sit for 3-4 hours.
After that, all you need to do is place it on wax paper and slice the fruit into strips and roll them up.
Boom, there you have it, your very own homemade fruit roll up. You can also store them in an air-tight container in room temperature for up to a week.
