There are some incredible crime stories out there. Stories about an emotionally wounded or desperate person taking up crime, almost getting away with it but ultimately is caught by true and dedicated detective work. This is not one of those stories.
Levi Charles Reardon is a 23-year-old man from Montana and was a wanted felon for wallet theft and check forgery.
The Cascade County police posted his wanted ad on Facebook. Reardon thought it would be a good idea to “like” his own wanted ad as it would make a funny story in the future.
Unbeknownst to Reardon, the GPS on his phone was active during that time on Facebook allowing the police to locate him. He’s not laughing now.
He was arrested on April 24th, 2015, and appeared in court on the 27th on a $2,500 warrant.
