She Wrote A Note To Her Deceased Dad On A Balloon, Never Expected To Get This In Return

There’s nothing more tragic than a young girl burying her father. But for one little girl, this ugly dark cloud would have a silver lining.

The little girl let a balloon with a handwritten note fly into the sky to commemorate her father’s memory. A man named Jacob Brandt found the balloon on his way out of a restaurant named Local Heroes.

He was about to throw the balloon away, but the owner of the restaurant Lisa Swisley saw the note on it. The balloon had phrases like ” I will always be your little girl dad. Don’t forget that.” written on it.

The two worked together to find the little girl in Whittier California, over 400 miles away. When the two made contact, they sent messages of support and love , as well as jewelry and photo albums.

The two of them could have dumped the balloon in the trash and never bothered. But their show of good faith put a small positive spin on a great tragedy.
