Mary Maxwell Gates was a high esteemed businesswoman and Seattle native that served as a high ranking officer in several major corporations.
She was invited to lead the opening prayer at a Home-Instead Senior Care Center’s Care Giver of The Year award ceremony. She began with a normal prayer as expected, and then used her stage time to deliver a hilarious speech on process of aging.
Her speech was filled with wit, humor, and charm and at 74-years-old she clearly hadn’t lost a beat.
The crowd, comprised of mostly senior citizens, loved every moment of her time on stage.
