The hustle and bustle of the city life can be overwhelming at times. Ross Russel wanted away from the bustle and exchange it for a more relaxing life with nature.
So he moved to the far east of Suffolk with his wife, Sally, where he had plans to create the most peculiar of homes.
Ross has never built a home before, so he received help from architect Alex De Rijke, after informing him of his odd plan.
He wanted a house with a sliding roof so he could enjoy every weather and season at anytime. The roof is a sleeve that covers the roof and is controlled by four electric motors.
With his house design, Ross and his wife are able to enjoy the summer skies with an open house or bundle up for the winter is close it all. If anything, it’s conventional.
