One would be surprised at how similar ape and human behavior is.
Take, for example, how we react when we see a newborn baby. We usually get all googly eye and act like our IQ dropped a few numbers. Hey, babies are cute, we can’t help it.
An Orangutan at the zoo shared a similar moment with a woman and her new born child.
The woman approached the glass with her baby in a sling. The Orangutan became enamored with the child. She pointed at the baby and looked at the mother, as if to say, “Is that yours? It’s beautiful.”
It was a moment so precious you’d almost wish that Orangutan could hold the baby. Of course, that wouldn’t be a very a safe idea.
