Every little girl has a phase of wanting a teeny-tiny mini horse of her own. Most horses, even the smallest ones, are way too big for a little girl though, as the average size of a mini horse is around 250 pounds,
Thumbelina is the smallest horse in the world, and has captured the hearts of both little girls and grown adults alike.

Thumbelina clocks in at a petite 57 pounds and is only 17 inches tall, which actually makes her comparable to a medium sized dog.

She currently lives on Goose Creek Farm in Missouri with her owner Paul Goessling.

Despite her childish appearance, Thumbelina was actually born in May of 2001 to two miniature horse parents (making her 14).

The most fun thing about Thumbelina is that she uses her adorable looks to do charity work with children. She frequently visits pediatric hospitals to make kids smile.

Thumbelina’s owner isn’t going to give her up anytime soon, but can you blame him? She’s truly one of a kind!
