An Officer Had A Heart Attack While Booking A Burglary Suspect. Here’s What Happened Next.

A Florida teen being booked on burglary charges, and violating his probation, is being hailed a hero after witnessing an officer have a heart attack in a Fort Lauderdale holding cell.

The officer, Franklin Foulks, fell to ground while grabbing his chest and the teen, Jamal Rutledge, got up while still in handcuffs and kicked on the door until he alerted nearby officers.

The officers were able to rush in to Foulks aid and bring him to a nearby hospital.

Medical staff say the boys quick thinking saved the mans life and he’s expected to make a full recovery.
