NFL player Devon Still prepares for the biggest challenge of his life, Keeping cool and calm in front of his 4 year old daughter, Leah, who is facing an even greater struggle than her father, surgical operation to remove a tumor.
Leah was diagnosed with stage 4 pediatric cancer in June of 2014. Upon this discovery, Devon Still decided to spend more time with his daughter than was allowed which led to him being cut from the Cincinnati Bengals. Surprisingly, the team took him back shortly after so he can continue to support his daughter.
“Pre-surgery pep talk…I might be nervous and scared beyond words but I’ll never let her see it…Let’s get this done!” It reads after a video he posted. Part of being a dad is making sure you show no fear in front of your child.
Another part of being a dad is showing support and motivation and what better way to do that than a little pep talk and fist bump? Here’s hoping for the best for little Leah and her operation.
