A mother was so shocked that her 7-week old baby was trying to communicate with her that she had to get it on video.
36-year-old Toni McCann is a mother of 4 in Ireland. Her youngest is baby Cillian, and he’s apparently quite the talker.
On a story with the Daily Mail, Toni says, “He was trying to speak for a while but that day I knew he was trying to say something.
‘I’d read that babies communicate from a young age and to give them space to answer when you talk to them.”
She noticed that Cillian has been trying to mimic words since he was 5-weeks old, so she decided to give it a try.
“He was so alert and making such good eye contact I decided to video him. You can tell my total shock when he came out with “hello”.’
You can really see Cillian make an effort as he moves his mouth in shapes to try and match his mother’s words.
