Man Grabs A Drill And A Carrot. What He Does With It? You Can’t Get More Creative Than This.

Music can be found everywhere. In nature, in our own hearts, even a carrot.

Linsey Pollak is a musician from Australia. He’s much more than that though. He’s a composer, musical director and an instrument maker.

He appeared on an episode of TEDx Talks, in Sidney, to demonstrate his rather unorthodox yet incredible instrument making skill. He doesn’t make them the traditional way, out of wood or brass, but instead with household items, glass, and food.

On the show he creates a clarinet out of a carrot using a power drill, a saxophone mouthpiece and, you guessed it, a carrot.

The really impressive thing is how the carrot clarinet is in tune from the get-go. You can tell Pollak has been doing this for a long time if he didn’t have to make any adjustments to make it sound proper.

His playing skills were phenomenal as well.
