Wouldn’t it be great to have a secret hideaway or special nook just like the old spies in the movies? You could hide all sorts of treasures or important documents inside, or it could just be your very own quiet space.
A talented DIYer (who probably has a taste for film noir) turned their ordinary bookcase into a secret door.
The creator took some cool photos giving a rough idea on how to do it. First, you need to actually create the bookcase. You could definitely buy one, but it has to match the dimensions of your entryway.
Next is the fun part. To open it, you need a secret key. The creator used a specific book in classic film noir style. Just make sure you use a book you don’t care about because you’ll have to cut a hole straight through it.
