An Inflatable Raft Gets Attacked By A Shark During An African Sightseeing Tour

If you have ever laughed at the Jaws movie for being completely made up, you won’t be laughing now. An adventure tour guide in Mossel Bay, South Africa experienced the real deal—no direction by Spielberg required—when a giant Great White started snacking on his boat.

Of course, his boat also happened to be an inflatable raft, so any moment you are just waiting for the side to pop open and for the shark to swallow the crew whole. There’s a reason these sharks are called “great” and the 12-foot shark looks like movie magic in this video.

Fortunately, no one became shark food or ended with any missing limbs. The team managed to get some great footage as the shark munched on the rubber.

The next time these guys are out they might want to think about getting themselves a bigger boat—or at least one that can withstand rows of razor sharp teeth.
