Horses are capable of incredible things. They can run at 30 mph, jump almost 5 feet, and, apparently, bust out sick dance moves.
In a new commercial by nail polish brand OPI, in collaboration with ad agency DAN Paris, showcases what a horse can do with a lot of training and a little computer animation.
In a combination of color and emotions, four woman take center stage to show off their varying dance skills, only to be shown up by the “Lady in Black”, a thoroughbred that was trained by french equestrian stunt trainer Mario Luraschi.
OPI Executive VP and Artistic Director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, had this to say about the video:
“Today, nail color can convey feelings and emotions, expressing on the outside what the wearer is feeling on the inside. In this short film, four women communicate through dance and color. With a trained Thoroughbred who could replicate the dancers’ moves with very little digital enhancement, we were able to capture the unique, energetic and creative culture that epitomizes the OPI brand.”
