Jack Storms is a different case. He works with cold glass, and his art style is one the most intense and physically challenging to do.
He learned this process to combine lead crystal with dichroic glass from a glass artist in New Hampshire. After studying with the artist for over a year, he found a job that catered to his optic sculpture talent.
It can take 18-24 weeks just to finish one project, and he does it all with careful measurements, inspired by the Fibonacci sequence/ratio, and precision machinery.
He also invented a cold-working lathe that allows him to turn the glass and create different curves and shapes, like with woodworking.
