There’s few things more relaxing than casting a fishing line into clear blue water and waiting for dinner to bite. However, fishing is actually pretty difficult, and you always have to be ready for surprises.
When the man in the video got a bite on his line, he reacted the way he should have. He tried to reel the fish in slowly enough not to break the line, but quickly enough so the catch doesn’t get away.
When the fish was finally in sight, the fisherman tried to reel it up. However, a local shark had a different idea in mind. When the fish broke the surface of the water, the shark struck. It snatched the catch away from the fisherman and scared everyone on board half to death.
The fisherman was a good sport about it, as the shark probably needed the fish more than he did. He got a good story out of it too!
