On the Lebanese Al-Jadeed news channel radical Islamist, Hani al Sibai, was being interviewed by news host, Rima Karaki.
After her guest began rambling off topic, the anchor tried to get him back to the point of discussion, as they were pressed for time.
This infuriated him. Upset by her attempts to continue the discussion he snapped:
“Are you done? Shut up, so I can talk. It’s beneath me to be interviewed by you. You are a woman who…”
Thankfully, the rest of his babbling was cut short by Karaki, saying, “Just one second. Either there is mutual respect or the conversation is over.” And that’s exactly what happened, it was over just like that. She cut off his mic and showed him who’s boss.
Good riddance.
