Eugene The Librarian’s Witty Poetry Wins Over Skeptical Judges

Britain’s got talent has been known to occasionally have those contestant who are brutally judged right when appearing on stage based on appearance and how they sound, only to surprise everyone with either a beautiful voice or charismatic wit. This is no exception.

Eugene is a 37-year-old (at the time of his debut) librarian with a passion for poetry. He decided to share is passion with the world on Britain’s Got Talent. The moment he walks on stage, eyes immediately start rolling, probably because of how he looks and how slow he talks. He was even buzzed before getting the chance to perform as soon as he mentioned ‘poetry’.

However, he managed to win them over with his witty poem ‘Ode to Britain’s Got Talent’ and received standing ovations.
