One lady called her local radio show for issue of hers. She’s tried writing to newspapers and calling TV stations, but according to her, none of them wanted to stick with her topic.
So she calls the radio show to talk about deer crossing signs.
She explains that in the past 3-years she’s experienced 3 separate car accidents, each involving deer. The kicker: they each happened shortly after she saw a deer crossing sign.
Her issue is how the Minnesota and North Dakota places these signs on busy highways and they should be placed in less busy and dangerous areas for the deer to cross, as if the deer can somehow read our signs and know to cross at that spot.
It took the radio host a few seconds to try to explain to this women that the signs are there to tell deer where to cross, but to inform drivers that they’re in a deer populated area, and to keep an eye out.
The woman calling couldn’t quite understand where the radio host was coming from.
