Create Useful Kitchen Clips Out Of Plastic Store Hangers

The plastic hangers that you get from department stores like Kohls and Sears make the clothes hang so nicely in the store. But once you get them home, you’ll find that they hardly last a week.

They’re made out of such a flimsy grade of plastic that any clothes heavier than a T-Shirt will eventually cause them to break in half. So instead of keeping them for the week, or throwing them right away, why not turn them into something that’s actually useful?

The person behind the LearnToGrow YouTube channel has come up with a good use for those hangers. All you need to do is break the ends off of the plastic hangers to get the clips that they use.

Some of the hangers can be pretty sturdy, so use a heavy pair of scissors for those ones to avoid cutting your hands on the jagged plastic.

When you’re done, you have handy clips that you can use to keep opened bags closed. So Thrifty!
