16-year-old David Thibault was invited to perform on the Ellen Show after his cover of Elvis’ Blue Christmas went viral with over 8,000,000 views.
When he starts speaking, it appears that the shy French-Canadian teenager had very few similarities to the king of rock and roll. But once he opens his mouth to start singing, it’s like being thrown into a time machine and watching Elvis himself perform the song.
Thibault was introduced to Elvis by his grandfather and fell in love with his sound. He is currently a contestan, and fan favorite, on the show The Voice France.
