Most people would assume that butter and toilet paper don’t mix, and under normal circumstances they’d be right. However, this video of a man transforming these two household items into an emergency candle shows that the internet is full of Macgyvers.
It might sound pointless, but think about all the times you’ve been stuck in the middle of a power outage with no candles. You certainly had butter and toilet paper didn’t you? Butter candles are also edible (obviously) so they’re a super frugal alternative. The best part of this life-hack is that it’s surprisingly simple. If your child is scared of outages, you can kill some time and have some fun with them by making butter candles.
