The Bohemian Rhapsody Cover That Will Make You Think Freddie Mercury Has Risen From The Grave

Queen’s Bohemia Rhapsody is arguably one of the best composed master pieces of rock ever written in the late 20th century.

The 1975 song had a shaky start when it came to critical acclaim but the song has won a plethora of awards, holds a place in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll, inducted to the Grammy Hall of Fame and covered by many bands.

The song is very challenging to cover however, and many bands attempting to do so have failed miserably. It is broken up and composed like a a classical piece from Mozart with an opera and multiple solos and so on and so forth and most singers fail to reach Freddy Mercury’s range and grace.

Panic! At the Disco did a pretty good job covering the song, keeping true to the original but also throwing in their own flavor. With Brendon Urie and Spencer smith as the only two original members, Panic! has been touring around with other bands such as Linkin Park and Fall out boy. The performed the cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody” on the Gospel Tour.
