As humans, we rely on our sense of sight more than anything. Going blind is a very terrible fear for most people. But being blind isn’t worse, it’s just different.
Did you know that when you lose one sense, the other senses become stronger? There are dozens of people that are totally blind that can paint photorealistic pictures of family and friends without ever seeing them.
In this story, a mother named Tatiana goes to get an ultrasound. For most mothers, the sight of their baby moving for the first time through the screen is a once in a lifetime joy. However, Tatiana lost her sight at 17.
The huggies company decided to give Tatiana the opportunity. They made a mold of her baby using special technology so she could “see” her baby just like any other mom. They even praised braille letters at the top of the mold that said “I am your son.”
Tatiana cries tears of joy. What’s even better is that she gets to keep the mold forever. Tatiana definitely won’t forget what huggies did for her.
