With seats that don’t recline enough and screaming babies everywhere, it’s not a big surprise that there’s not much in the way of romance on airplanes. However, the passengers of this Alaska Airlines flight got to witness something swoon worthy, courtesy of the captain.
The captain of this flight announced his proposal to a flight attendant named “Brandy”, instead of announcing the arrival gate. He began with an adorable speech in which he stated all of the things he loved about Brandy and why he wanted to marry her over the intercom.
The passengers were confused at first, but the second the captain asked “Will you marry me?” they burst into loud applause!
Public displays like this make great lifetime memories. Brandy was more than a little embarrassed, but judging from the way the happy couple embraces at the end of the video it’s obvious what her response was.
