A municipal Smyrna city worker in Georgia shot a man who was attempting to car jack a woman’s vehicle at a busy 3-Minute Car Wash. At the time, the woman was on the hood of her car, attempting to stop the jacking, but was soon saved by the armed good Samaritan, who saved both the woman’s life and prevented the car jacking.
The attempted car jacking of the woman’s white Honda was quite brazen, and was done in broad daylight. Three suspects in the car jacking were in a red van, and escaped, although the police are still currently pursuing them.
The fourth suspect, was shot in the shoulder, was taken to Kennstone Hospital in Georgia to be treated for his wounds. He will be charged with aggravated assault and motor vehicle theft.
Thanks to the armed city worker, not only does an innocent woman have her car, but the bad guy is also behind bars. Talk about two birds with one stone — or bullet.
