With pool parties and cookouts happening left and right, it always pays to come up with new ways to wow your guests. Showing up with a great big platter of ice cream snacks is one way to do that, but what if we told you that there was a way to jazz up those snacks even further.
This video by the youtube channel Yoyomax12 is going to show you how to turn your ice cream into an impressive tie-dye creation.
All you need is ice cream (vanilla works best due to the fact that it’s not colored) and jello powder. Boxed ice cream is the easiest to work with, but any other sealable container like a large tupperware bowl should work well too.
All you need to do is put the ice cream and colored jello powder into the container in layers and refreeze it. When you scoop it out, you’ll have pretty colored stripes running throughout the ice cream. It’ll even give it a sweet, candy like taste. Awesome!
