Jack Mook is a no nonsense, straight arrow, detective from Pittsburgh who’s been in the force for 22 years. A bachelor who enjoys boxing and teaching the sport to underprivileged kids on his off time. That’s where he met two boys, 15 year old Josh and his 11 year old brother Jesse.
Mook bonded with the children through boxing. When they stopped showing up to the gym where they trained, he decided to investigate further. That’s when he discovered that the boys were hiding just how difficult their lives are. Upon the discovery, the detective took it upon himself to take the boys into his care and adopt them as his own.
After a two year journey, the three now live happily together as the Mook family and the young boys will have the family life they always deserved, chores included.
